The United States government through the Department of the Interior’s Office of Insular Affairs (OIA), provides Technical Assistance Program (TAP) funding to the RMI government under the new COFA Amendment Act signed in March 2024 with over $350 million USD in grants earmarked for infrastructural support for health and educational facilities in Majuro, Ebeye, and the neighboring islands.
