The Ministry is committed to developing critical infrastructure in the RMI through road repairs, boat ramp projects in the neighboring islands, seawall construction as a response to disaster events, airport runway rehabilitation works, and repair of the iconic Capitol Building. Infrastructure developments are prioritized based on the National Infrastructure Investment Plan (NIIP) which has been developed through a bottom-top approach with climate action in mind to build a resilient infrastructure for the people of the RMI.
